HOUGHTON - Jimmy Pietila had a pair of doubles as Matt's Auto Glass defeated Chassell VFW 4-2 in Portage Lake Little League Major play Monday.
Eli Larson added a double and a single and Lars Massie tripled in support of winning pitcher Jiseung Choi.
For Chassell VFW, Shawn Ruotsala had a pair of singles and Caleb Bach doubled.

Loading Zone II rolled to victory over Copper World in the Keweenaw Little League, with six players recording at least two hits.
Ashton Martilla went 2-for-3 with five RBIs in the contest. Carter Crouch was 3-for-5 and drove in a pair of runs. Caleb Gregorie went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and scored three times. Cole Gregorie, Nick Djerf and Blair Provost also had two-hit games.
Kellen Klein was the winning pitcher, allowing two earned runs on two hits in five innings. He struck out eight.
For Copper World, Brevin Antilla and Sam Kiiskila had hits.
J. Peltier Construction blanked Pat's Foods 6-0 on a two-hitter by Davin Hill. Hill fanned 12 in the complete game and had just a single walk.
Ethan Jarvela had a single and an RBI triple in the win, while Christian Hocking went deep for a two-run shot to left in the fourth inning.
Austin Salani and Colton Salani singled in the first inning, but Hill held Pat's hitless the rest of the way.
