HOUGHTON - There'll be two Houghton High School alums in the North American Hockey League next season.
Ray Brice signed a tender agreement with the Soo Eagles of the NAHL earlier this year and is expected to suit up for them when the NAHL season begins in September.
Brice became HHS's all-time leader in career goals and assists during his senior season, finishing with 31 goals and 30 assists in the 2013-14 regular season.

Brice had five more goals in the postseason for a career total of 109 goals and 193 points.
The Eagles, who play in the Sault's historic Pullar Stadium, have played two seasons in the NAHL and are the second-closest NAHL team geographically to Houghton (the Minnesota Wilderness, in Cloquet outside Duluth, are the closest).
Four-year Gremlin teammate Connor Hannon was selected by the Bismarck (N.D.) Bobcats in the NAHL's June entry draft. Brice's tender agreement made him not subject to the draft.
The teams are in different divisions and are not scheduled to meet in the NAHL regular season, which involves 60 games from September to April.
