Witting still swimming

Susan Witting, formerly of Hancock, won four individual and three relay medals last week at the U.S. Masters Long Course Nationals Swim Championships in Baltimore. Competing for the Swim Fort Lauderdale team that won the national team title, Witting was first in the women’s 50-meter breaststroke, second in the 200 breaststroke and fifth in both the 100 freestyle and 200 individual medley. While in high school in the 1980s, Witting swam for Hancock Central High. She is the daughter of Jack and Gert Witting, presently of Chassell. (Courtesy photo)
