Tech volleyball qualifies for NCAA Tournament

HOUGHTON — The Michigan Tech volleyball team will make its ninth all-time appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament as the Huskies were named a No. 8 seed in the Midwest Region. The Huskies will play the No. 1 seeded Lewis in the first round. Top-seeded Lewis is also deemed as the regional host for all of the Midwest qualifiers.

This will be head coach Matt Jenning’s first NCAA appearance in his six seasons as the leader of the Huskies and marks the ninth time in Tech’s program history. Jennings has led the Huskies to three straight qualifying seasons in the GLIAC tournament.

Quarterfinal matches will begin Nov. 30. More details to follow.
