HOUGHTON — Jeffers (4-1) shut out L’Anse (1-3) 7-0 at the MacInness Student Ice Arena on Monday, with seven different players netting goals.

Brandon Lavigne, Clay Larson, Michael Johnson, David Storm, Kellen Klein, Dominick Nettel and Jackson Rocchi were the goal scorers.

“It is great to have many guys contributing and to see the shared joy for others by teammates, as many guys find their way onto the scoresheet,” head coach Pat Nettell said. “If we can keep all of our cylinders firing and get scoring from all of our lines, we will be a tough out each time we play.”

Noah Nettell, who is 4-1 through his first five games as a starter, had 24 saves in the win.

Next up Jeffers visits Cheboygan, Thursday at 7 p.m. This is the second meeting between the two teams, with Jeffers winning the first, 4-2 on Nov. 17.
