Dollar Bay rolls past Watersmeet 83-33

WATERSMEET — It was a dominant showing from the No. 3 Dollar Bay Blue Bolts, as they topped the Watersmeet Nimrods 83-33 in a nonconference game Tuesday in Watersmeet. 

“Offensively, we are finding our groove, and we did good things in the half-court defense,” Dollar Bay coach Jesse Kentala said. 

Jaden Janke paced the Blue Bolts with 17 points, while Devin Schmitz and Jacob Iacono each added 14. Every player for Dollar Bay scored, including freshmen Davin Hill and Connor LeClaire who each had eight points.

“Davin and Connor had a good varsity showing,” Kentala said. 

Leighton Templeton led Watersmeet (1-5) with 15 points.

Next, Dollar Bay (6-0) hosts Hancock on Thursday.
