Calumet’s Cooper Twardzik has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Northern Michigan University. Twardzik has earned three letters in football, basketball and track at Calumet High School.  

In football as a junior, he earned West-PAC Second Team honors and was selected to the All-U.P. First Team as a defensive end.  As a senior, he was named West-PAC First Team, Defensive Player of the Year, U.P. Dream Team Defensive End, Michigan Football Coaches Association D6 First team and AP Division 5-6 Honorable Mention.
