Former Houghton man killed in alleged murder
WILLISTON, N.D. — A North Dakota man is charged with murdering a former Atlantic Mine man earlier this week.
Dyson Bastian, 24, was one of three people allegedly run over by Steven Rademacher, 42.
According to a court affavadit, Rademacher had been yelling at the group before driving off in his truck. The group told him to slow down, the affavidit said.
After driving several blocks, Rademacher made a U-turn. Arriving back at his address, Rademacher turned at the propety line and headed for a group of people who were seated and standing, the affavidit said.
Bastian was taken to C.H.I. St. Alexius Hospital in Williston, where he was prnounced dead on arrival.
Rademacher is scheduled for a spreliminary hearing on Aug. 28. His bond was set at $1 million.
