Two arraigned in separate drug cases
HOUGHTON — Two Houghton county residents were arraigned on drug charges in 97th District Court as a result of separate investigations, the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) said in a release.
Both arrests — of Antoine Wilson, 35, of Calumet, and Amanda Rush, 34, of Houghton — were made Wednesday by UPSET and the Michigan State Police Calumet Post. The investigation leading to Wilson’s arrest lasted two months; Rush’s, one.
Wilson is charged with one count of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of delivery of heroin, both 20-year felonies. Wilson’s bond was set at $10,000.
Rush is charged with one count of delivery of oxycodone, a 20-year felony. Her bond was set at $5,000.
