LAIRD TOWNSHIP — Investigators released the names of two people Thursday, including a 5-year-old, thought to be fatalities from a Laird Township fire Tuesday morning.

Christopher Fogg, 37, and Leonidas Fogg, 5, are believed to be those who died in the fire. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Calumet post responded to the fire about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Initial reports had only confirmed one person dead at the scene.

A positive identification has not yet been made. The MSP continues to investigate the fire.
