Range Bank is pleased to announce the opening of a new full-service office on M-26 in Houghton. The new 4,000 square foot facility, which opened on Monday, Jan. 9th, replaces the bank’s current branch office located on M-26, adjacent to the new facility.

The new office was designed by Upper Peninsula Engineer and Architects and the general contractor was Gundlach Champion. It boasts two drive-up window lanes, a drive-up ATM and a lobby designed to maximize customer’s service and comfort. The bank entrance also has an automated door access system to assist customers with disabilities.

The Houghton area is the economic hub of the Copper Country and our investment in this new facility is a reflection of our confidence and commitment to the region.”

Jamey Markham, Senior Vice-President added, “In addition to the enhancements our new office provides in the deposit services area, we now have five offices and a conference room to better support our growing mortgage and business lending services which have more than doubled over the last ten years.”

The public is invited to a grand opening ceremony from 9:00am to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13th, 2017. The Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. In addition, WKMJ-Mix 93 will be onsite from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. broadcasting live. Tours of the building, and snacks and refreshments will be provided. In addition, the bank will also be hosting a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18th.

Throughout these events the public is invited to register for door prizes. One adult and one child prize will be given daily Jan. 23rd – 27th and the public can enter to win every time they visit the new Range Bank Houghton office. There is no purchase required to enter the drawings.
