Ontonagon-area Small Business Assistance help available through the Ontonagon Downtown Development Authority

Small businesses in Ontonagon Area effected by the COVID-19 shut down can now apply for assistance. Rich Ernest, Chair of the Village DDA, is coordinating the county wide efforts to make information available on the various economic assistance programs for local businesses. Small businesses are encouraged to take advantage of financial assistance programs offered by the SBDC, MEDC, and Michigan Works. Funding from the State and Federal government through these programs can provide financial help for small business owners and their employees to survive this crisis. Owners may contact Rich Ernest at 884-2823 or by e-mail at ontonagondda@gmail.com. More information is available on the Village of Ontonagon website by clicking on COVID-19 Information or the big “i” on the right.
