Accused embezzler bound over
HOUGHTON – A Lake Linden woman was bound over to Houghton County Circuit Court on charges of embezzling from her father.
Susan Dulong, 46, appeared in 97th District Court for a preliminary hearing Monday. She faces felony charges of embezzlement, fraud, and illegal use of a financial transaction device.
Dulong served 30 days in jail in 2007 for embezzling more than $160,000 from the Michigan Education Association. She received a federal sentence of six months in prison in 2009 for violating the terms of her probation.
Her circuit court arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 6.
