No fails: School referendums passed by voters

All three school district millages on Houghton and Ontonagon county ballots yesterday were approved by voters.

Stanton Township Public Schools asked for a $3.4 million bond proposal for renovations and additions to the E.B. Holman School. The proposal passed 239-189.

Ewen-Trout Creek Consolidated School District requested a bond for $4.49 million in bonds for remodeling school buildings and upgrading equipment. The proposal passed 348-333.

Elm River Township’s bond proposal, seeking a five-year renewal of 18 mills for operating costs, passed 39-7.
