Talking Books players available at library
HOUGHTON – Those who are unable to read standard printed materials can now access a Talking Books player at the Portage Lake District Library in Houghton.
According to a release from the library, the player offers “high-quality sound, advanced navigation, and variable speed controls.” The release said the device, as well as a rotating selection of books, is made available by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
