Many local crafters at fair

VICTORIA – Vendors at the Old Victoria Craft Fair included many local crafters, mostly from the Upper Peninsula.

Keith Spaniel, of Ironwood, demonstrated blacksmithing techniques all day during the fair, which also featured these sellers:

Carol Brown, of Greenland, sold mittens, hats, baby sweaters and fiber art.

Mike Butterfield, from Florence, Wis., peddled hand-woven rugs.

Rob Carlson, of Calumet, vended agate and copper pendants, rocks, magnets and more.

Samantha Chapman, of Houghton, sold hairbows, headbands and ribbon crafts.

Theresa and Charlie Cianter, of Iron Mountain, boasted a wide variety of candles.

James Daniels, of Ontonagon, peddled his wood crafts, including cutting boards, pens, wine stoppers and bowls.

Rebecca Ferrell, of Trout Creek, sold goat milk lotion and soap, fiber art and more.

Mark Jasper, of Carney, sold maple syrup, jam, salsa and honey.

Kristi Juntunen, of Alston, vended soaps, lotions, scrubs, soy candles and embroidery.

Anna Leppanen, of Hancock, displayed Finnish products for sale.

Geraldine Nielsen, of Bruce Crossing, sold scrubbies, aprons and other items.

Theresa Palosaari, of Chassell, sold jams and natural arts, including sewing and crochet.

Martha Sohlden, of Chassell, peddled jams and jellies.

Kristina Vanhala, of Chassell, sold string-beaded jewelry.

Melanie Walls sold lavender cookies, jelly, face masks and jewelry.

Martha Spaniel showcased jewelry, blacksmith items, and wood cutting boards.
