Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools Board approves technology purchases

Garrett Neese/Daily Mining Gazette Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools Superintendent Craig Sundblad discusses technlogy upgrades in the district at Monday’s board meeting.

LAKE LINDEN — The Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools Board approved more than $28,000 in technology improvements for the district at its meeting Monday night.

Approved spending included 26 computers, 40 tablets and a 40-tablet cart, as well as 12 6-foot tables, two 3-foot tables and 25 chairs.

“I polled each building whether they wanted one of their labs redone or they wanted another Chromebook cart,” said Superintendent Craig Sundblad. “The elementary chose to go with a Chromebook cart right now, and the high school chose to have their classroom lab redone.”

Funding came from the bond issue approved by Lake Linden-Hubbell voters earlier this year.
