The Baraga County Lake Trout Committee has come to a decision to cancel this year’s event.

It was a very sad and difficult decision to make. Unfortunately with the Coronavirus at our door, we do not think it would be safe to hold such an event with the number of people who will attend.

We realize the economic impact this may have on our area, but we also understand what the businesses are going through now and in all honestly couldn’t ask them for donations this year.

Next year we will be back in full swing on June 12, 2021, with the 15th Annual Baraga County Lake Trout Festival
