Carnegie Museum of the Keweenaw event: CC Railroads by Bill Sproule

HOUGHTON — Attend the Carnegie Museum of the Keweenaw’s virtual event, CC Railroads with Bill Sproule on May 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

When the copper rush arrived on the Keweenaw Peninsula, it also saw the start of the development of an extensive rail network. In this live-stream Zoom presentation, Bill Sproule introduces and explores the history of the many railroad companies that operated in the Copper Country and linked the area to the rest of the United States.
