LUTSEN, Minn. – James Marietta took home first-place honors in three divisions at the Cor Motorsports Midwest Extreme Snowmobile Challenge last weekend.

Marietta finished atop the cross country semi-pro division, as well as hill cross pro 600 stock and hill cross pro open stock.

He added a pair of seconds in hill climb pro stock 600 and 800.

Travis Kaurala of Alston added four other top-five finishes, the best of them a pair of second places in hill climb pro open mod and hill climb 600 mod. He was fourth in 800 mod and fifth in 600 stock.

Chris Hella of L’Anse ran in seven different categories with a second in cross country semi pro improved and three fifths, in hill climb pro 600 mod, hill climb pro open and hill climb pro.

Matt Tingstad of Bessemer had two firsts and two thirds.
