Learn how to keep your aging heart healthy

HANCOCK — Setting time aside to be physically active is something you need to do to stay healthy. Not just for you, but for your heart. It’s also important to understand how aging can cause changes that may increase your risk for heart disease.

Learn how you can maintain a healthy heart into your golden years during a free educational talk at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock. Aspirus Cardiologist Dr. Peter Vaitkevicius will explain what an aging heart looks like and how changes in the cardiovascular structure and function affect other systems in your body.
