Superior Wilderness, art from the Isle Royale Artist-In-Residence Collection opens at the Rozsa

HOUGHTON – The Rozsa Center and the Department of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) are excited to announce the long-awaited opening of Superior Wilderness. The exhibit, which was post-postponed last March, runs Sept. 1 through 16 in Rozsa Gallery, A-Space. It features works of art created by artists who spent time on Isle Royale as part of the National Park’s Artist-in-Residence program. Poets, painters, printmakers, and book artists are featured. The exhibit was co-curated by Lisa Gordillo and recent Michigan Tech Department of Visual and Performing Arts graduate Kassie Baril.

Visitors are asked to come to the gallery in groups of five or less. Gallery hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
