James Arthur Hannon

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -James “Jim” Arthur Hannon, 64, a Cape Coral resident since 1981, formerly of Calumet, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, in Cape Coral.

He was born on April 23, 1949, in Calumet to Ardell and Margaret Hannon, now deceased.

Jim was a proud member of the Cape Coral Moose Lodge. His passion for the game of pool lead to endearing friendships and adventurous travels. His love as a father, grandfather and family member will forever be in our hearts. His sense of humor and gift of making others laugh will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his three loving children, James “Jay” Hannon, II, of Tampa, Fla., Amber H. Fred of Tallahassee, Fla., and Mackenzie Gibson and husband Bryan, also of Tallahassee; his beloved long term girlfriend, Jari Smith of Cape Coral; a brother, Bill Hannon and wife Donna of Mohawk; and three grandchildren, Alani, Olivia, and Owen.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Cape Coral Moose Lodge 2199, 155 Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with Moose Lodge Governor Bob Camperlino officiating.

Memorial contributions in memory of James A. Hannon are suggested to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.
