Patricia M. Kinnee
PELKIE — Patricia M. Kinnee, 80, a former resident of Pelkie passed away Sunday evening, December 31, 2017, at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock where she had been a resident for the past three years.
She was born on February 9, 1937, in Keshena, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Kaquatosh) Pamanet.
Patricia was a member of the Menominee Nation and raised on the Menominee Reservation. For the past 30 years she has made her home in Pelkie.
She enjoyed trips to the Casino, spending time outdoors fishing, caring for all animals and visiting with friends. She had a deep Christian faith and enjoyed a lively and active life.
Preceding her in death were her daughter, Elaine; her parents, two brothers, Raymond and Louis; and a sister, Cecelia.
Surviving are her daughter, Gaynelle Betz of Green Bay, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Edie (Jay) Collins of Texas, Allan (Arlene) Pamanet of Oneida, Wisconsin, Alvin Pamanet of Keshena, Wisconsin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service for Patricia will be held later this spring at St. Anthony’s Cemetery of Neopit, Wisconsin.
Patricia’s family would like to thank the staff of the Houghton County Medical Car Facility for the care given to her during her stay.
