William ‘Bill’ C. Lake Sr.
PULASKI, Wis. — William “Bill” C. Lake, Sr., died unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2019, in Pulaski, Wisconsin.
The son of Walter and Esther (Lantow) Lake, was born on December 14, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, and he grew up on a farm in Marshall.
Bill was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. After his military service, he attended Western Michigan University and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Bill worked as a Certified Public Accountant and was also proud of his farm in Chassell. He enjoyed outdoor sports and was very well known for his love of bowling.
Survivors include his children, William C. (Denise) Lake, Jr., Raleigh of North Carolina, Jennifer (Rodney) Irwin of Pulaski, Wisconsin, Amberly (Shane) Silkworth of Menominee, Christopher (Autumn) Lake of Haslett, and Kayleigh Lake of Hancock; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Judy) Lake of Marshall; nieces and nephews; his special friend, Xing of Wuhan, China; and other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
The celebration of Bill’s life will be at the American Legion Post 90 (“Lakes Lounge”) in Lake Linden, on Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 1p.m. to 5 p.m.
