Thomas A. Manniko

He was born on January 1, 1934, in Calumet, to Albert and Katherine (McPhillips) Manniko. He attended the local schools.

On June 10, 1961, he married Janet Johnson in Calumet. For the 52 years Janet and Tom were not only husband and wife, but partners working together as artist and craftsman. Janet produced her watercolors, oils, acrylics, water based tints, and India Ink drawings while Tom complimented her efforts with woodworking skills. As anyone who stops by their “Last Place on Earth” in Allouez can attest, the artist and the craftsman both supported and enhanced one another in a way that was as unique as it was beneficial to both.

A graveside service will be held in the Lake View Cemetery Section at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
