Ronald James Vincent

ONTONAGON — Ronald James Vincent, 57 of Ontonagon passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 10, 2019.

He was born on February 26, 1962 in Green Bay, WI to Clifford and Doris Vincent. Ron served in The United States Marine Corp from 1979 – 1982. On February 14, 2007, Ron was United in marriage to Lynn Vincent. On this day he also became grandpa Ron to Lynn’s grandchildren, a title he was proud to wear. He loved them and was so proud.

Ron and Lynn delivered the Daily Mining Gazette for several years. He met many people along the way and was always focused on making the customers happy. Ron loved cars, reading, listening to music, watching movies, going to the beach,the Green Bay Packers and most of all, he loved his pets.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Megan; stepson, Jordan and Nephew Nathanial.

Ron is survived by his wife, Lynn; stepchildren, Heather (Toby) Nyman, Natasha (Joe) Picotte and Jeremy Weisinger; His grandchildren, Jacob, Connor, Joshua, Chayse, Mystere and Sandra; Father and mother-in-law, Leroy and Cathy Jamison; sisters-in-law, Lori (Scot) Milbourn and Lisa (Jim) Linna; stepmother, Kay Vincent; siblings, Richard (Roxanne), Steve, Dan (Julie), John, Vicky, Bill, Rob, Brad, Barb (Steve) Jarstad, Lisa (Dave) Wathan, Angie (Scott) Suntken, Chris and Nicole; foster parents, Earl and Evelyn Shoen; special nephew, Justin Vincent; best friend, Tim Maher and his boys, Austin and Ian; aunt Della; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and his fur babies, Cooper, Tanner, Bear, Aspen, Gypsy, River and Rosa.

A service will be held on Saturday, November 23 with Visitation at 12 p.m. and a service at 1 p.m. at Cane Funeral Home, 310 N. Steel St. in Ontonagon. A luncheon will follow.
