Jean Clare LaRoux Boggio
RAYMBAULTOWN — Jean Clare LaRoux Boggio passed away on December 27, 2019. She was born January 1, 1943 in Hubbell to Norbert Sr. and Clara (Senglaub) LaRoux.
On June 1, 1968 she was married to Dominic James Boggio at Bethany Lutheran Church in Mohawk, by Rev. Robert Langseth. For 51 years, Jean attended Faith Lutheran Church in Calumet where she served in a number of capacities, including teaching Sunday School and driving the church van. She attended Lake Linden schools and worked on Isle Royale, cleaning houses, and at her own lawn care and snow removal business.
She is preceded in death by her husband on December 16, 2009; her brothers, Norbert, Jr., Francis, John; sisters, Margaret, Doris (Frederick) Lenten; and good friend Donna (Siira) Walstrom.
She is survived by her brother, James LaRoux; numerous nieces and nephews; friends, Tanya Walstrom, Tami (Tom Kennedy) Walstrom, Elenore (Marvin) Hopf, Rev. Robert and Delores Langseth, Dr. Bonnie Tim Hafeman, Susan Ruth LaBlau Rovano, Mary Jane Jolly Shirley (Sweet Pea) Stemler and so, so many more.
