Laurie Huhta

Laurie was born to Joy and Arthur Huhta in Detroit on March 28, 1961. She moved to Calumet when her father retired, and then to group homes in Hancock. Her family is forever grateful to everyone at Copper Country Mental Health, Quincy House, and Atlantic House for being so good to Laurie. Laurie’s great sense of humor will be remembered by her sister, Mary Hickcox, her brother, Charles Huhta, her sister-in-law, Kathleen Huhta, her nieces, Christie Roehl and Rachel Huhta, her nephew, Robert Huhta, and all her family and friends.

The family will be having a private service in the summer of 2020.
