Joan (JoAnn) L. Englund

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Joan (JoAnn) L. Englund, 49, lost her 13-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer on March 18, 2020, she fought the good fight, but lost, and died peacefully at home with her Husband by her side.

Joan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 22, 1970 to parents Saber Shipp (dec.) and MaryAnn Shipp.

Joan attended The Brooklyn Center, Minnesota School System, and later received her education as a Medical Assistant, where she worked at various Nursing Homes and as a Personal Home Care Aide at many locations throughout Minnesota, and also worked as a Nanny; She eventually changed lanes and got a job at Pretty Bird International, Inc. in Stacy, Minnesota where she worked from the ground up to become a Plant Supervisor and do-it-all woman, which she was very proud of her accomplishments there for the past 18 years.

Growing up, she enjoyed Fishing and Target Shooting with her Father, as she grew, she relaxed with Cross Stiching/Needle Point and liked to go bowling and loved her Seek and Find Games, and Crossword Puzzles. Joan loved all animals, and wanted to take every critter home, she was a spit-fire with a heart of gold.

Daughter, Jocelyn Fleisher of Monticello, Minnesota; Daughter, Amanda (Joshua) Ganzer of Ham Lake, Minnesota; Son, Alexander (Mariia) Ganzer of Fridley, Minnesota; Grand Daughter Tayler Maree and Grandson Weseler (dubs); and in-laws Jayne Englund of Park Falls, Wisconsin, and Andrew Englund of Grand Rapids; Jeffrey Ganzer (ex-husband) of East Bethel, Minnesota and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews

There will be a Celebration of Life that is to be determined, one in Minnesota, and one in the U.P. as per her request sometime this summer.
