Carol J. Rosemergy

She was born on December 7, 1946, in Laurium to Lloyd and Jean (Phillips) Lander. She attended the local schools and graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1964.

Carol worked for D&L Janitorial for several years, before working in housekeeping at Calumet Public Hospital, and retiring from Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital on December 13, 2012.

She enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandkids, and spending time with her dogs.

On January 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to Rodger Rosemergy at the Calumet United Methodist Church in Calumet.

Carol was a member of the Calumet United Methodist Church in Calumet, where she was active in the UMW.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Jean Lander; her husband, Rodger Rosemergy; and her brother-in-law, Steve McCormick.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Heather) Rosemergy of Calumet; her daughter, Heather (Jason) Robinson of Lansing; four grandchildren, Quentin Rosemergy, Jayda Rosemergy, Scott Robinson, and Jean Robinson; her loving dog, Buster; five sisters, Laurel (Jim) Perko of Marquette, Debbie (Allyn) Schultz of Owosso, Yvonne (Nancy Kupari) Lander of Hubbell, Yvette (Sue Ohlen) Lander of Marquette, and Dawn McCormick of Waukesha, Wisconsin; one Aunt, June “Ducky” Burich of Laurium; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet on Saturday, August 1, 2020, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Scott Lindenberg to officiate.

Burial will take place in the Lake View Cemetery.
