Mary (Butkovich) Scott

Mary passed away at a friend’s home in Illinois, with the love of Mary’s life and world, her husband Marc and friends Bev, Kim, and Chris Adams.

Mary was born in Calumet, on March 23, 1950, to Albert and Bernice (Macomber) Butkovich.

Mary met the love of her life and world, husband Marc, and moved to Nisula.

Mary leaves a loving sister Susan (Donny) Timonen, who was her best bud, a little brother whom she loved dearly, Albert (Fiance Shelly) Butkovich, one son, Scott (Holly) Stumpf and two grandchildren. She loved being a grandma to Ella and Aidan. Also, one stepson, Nathan Scott.

Marc and Mary were pillars in their Grace Free Lutheran Church of Pelke, with Pastor Dave Hoskins and church family.

Mary was one of a kind with her infectious smile. She loved everyone and was loved by them all. Even in Mary’s pain, she still had an infectious smile. Mary enjoyed life including fishing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, biking, flower gardening, and cards with her lady friends.

Proceeding Mary in death, were her parents and a special nephew, William Plante, mother in-law, Elvis Scott, and numerous cousins, uncles and aunts.

She’s survived by her loving husband Marc, sister, brother, one son, grandkids, stepson, special friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a special Aunt, Lorriane Butkovich.

At Mary’s request, she was cremated and there will be no visitation. Donations may be sent to her Grace Free Lutheran Church at 15480 Pelkie Rd in Pelkie, MI. 49958 or the Humane Society, for her love of dogs. Mary will be missed and never forgotten.
