Robert ‘Robbie’ Remali

He was born on September 5, 1983, in Laurium to Richard and Cheryl (Utzman) Remali. He attended the local schools and graduated with the class of 2002. Following high school, Robbie worked as a mechanic for many years for various companies in the Calumet area.

Robbie loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and gun collecting. He was an avid Detroit Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers fan. He loved spending time with his family. He would always say “Love you cuz” to all of his cousins. And he especially loved to go for rides with his mom and dad.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Cheryl Remali of Calumet; special cousin who he loved like a sister, Celia Utzman; his “Brudder” and special cousin, Bobby Simmons; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 5 p.m. at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet, with Pastor Jared Howard to officiate.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Following the service, a celebration of Robbie’s life will be held at the Utzman Camp, 58945 Lakeshore Dr, Calumet, MI 49913.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials and donations may be sent to his family.
