Little Brothers says thank you

To the editor:

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly staff, board members and elderly friends would like to extend a special thanks to the community for your help and support this past holiday season.

Hundreds of volunteers gave their time throughout the holidays to make the season special for our elderly friends. Whether you baked, made phone calls, wrapped or delivered Christmas boxes and gifts and visited with the elderly, picked up donations, sorted supplies, prepared and baked turkeys, delivered supplies to sites, provided entertainment, answered phones, sharpened knives, helped on Thanksgiving or Christmas day at one of the dinner or hot meal delivery sites, and cleaned up at the office, thank you.

We also want to express our tremendous gratitude to all the local businesses, churches and individuals who donated food and supplies for our holiday activities, or let us us your facility. We know you are approached regularly for many wonderful causes and we are so grateful for your continued support.

Little Brothers would not exist without the support of the whole community. Thank you for making this holiday season memorable for our elderly friends.
