You believe it when you see it

To the editor:

The Apostles saw with their own eyes that Jesus came back to life after He was killed and they saw Him rise up into heaven in the clouds.

When you see something with your own eyes, no one can talk you out of it, no one can tell you it didn’t happen, no one can change your mind.

Matthew was killed by sword in Ethiopia because he would not deny the Resurrection.

Mark was killed in Alexandria, Egypt, by being dragged by horses through the streets.

Luke was hanged in Greece because he would not give up his testimony about Christ.

Peter was crucified upside down with a cross that was broken at the arms.

I am sure you have seen this symbol. The supposed “Peace” sign. Stay far away from it.

James, was thrown from the pinnacle of the Temple, 100 ft. to the ground, but did not die, so he was beaten with clubs until he died.

James, the son of Zebedee, was beheaded in Jerusalem.

While he was being prepared for execution, he was preaching the gospel to his captors.

One of them accepted the Lord and knelt down with James to be beheaded with him.

Nathaniel was a missionary to Turkey, which is now Armenia, and he was flayed to death by whips.

Andrew was crucified in Greece on a cross like Peter’s.

He was on the cross 2 days before he finally died, all the while preaching to his executioners.

Thomas was killed with a spear in India because he would not renounce his faith in Jesus.

Matthias – the Apostle who replaced Judas, was stoned and then beheaded.

Paul was tortured and beheaded by Nero in Rome in A.D. 67.

Let me tell you about John.

The Romans took him before a crowd in the Colosseum and wanted to have him burned in hot oil. They could not kill him, they couldn’t even injure him! Meanwhile, John was preaching to everyone in the Colosseum and everyone there was Saved!

So they took him to the prison island of Patmos to let him die there of old age, which he did, after writing the book of Revelation.

He was the only Apostle to die a natural death.

Not even one Apostle recanted, not one. Because their words are true.

They had seen Jesus Christ Rise from the Dead!
