To the editor:

The members of the Lake Linden-Hubbell Sportsmen’s Association would like to thank all the local businesses and individuals who helped make our 43rd annual Rice Lake Fishing Derby, held on June 12, a big success.

A special thanks for the generous donations made by businesses in Calumet, Copper City, Copper Harbor, Dollar Bay, Hancock, Houghton, Hubbell, Lake Linden, Laurium and Mohawk. Thanks also to the individuals who donated handcraft items and other prizes.

Gratitude is also expressed to all the participants in the Fishing Derby, without you the Derby would not happen.

Finally, appreciation is extended to the Club members who worked hard to organize and implement the event.
