Get serious about election

To the editor:

Wake up, America. This isn’t the third-grade class president we’re voting for. It’s time to get serious about this presidential election. The primaries are over and it’s never been this bad. Let’s have an honest look at Donald Trump.

In my opinion, we have a real nut running for president in the Republican Party. Donald Trump by his own words out of his big mouth makes me believe there are many similarities between him and Adoff Hitler and the antichrist in the Bible. This man is dangerous; anyone that is against him he will step on and crush them like a bug.

I’m not going to go through the list of stupid things he said on TV. He will say stupid stuff, then deny it an hour later. But, did you know a few years ago in a TV interview he was asked: “What are you going to do if Congress raises taxes on the wealthy?” Donald Trump said: (with a smirk on his face) “We’ll take our money and leave the country.”

Do you really think he cares about the working class? If anyone thinks he’s for making anything greater besides his ego and offshore bankroll, then you better start listening closer to what he’s saying.

He said the people of Iowa were stupid – because they didn’t buy into his foolishness and vote for him. Then he said: “I could go down on Fifth Avenue and shoot someone, and my people would still vote for me.” This egomaniac thinks people who voted for him are so stupid he could kill another human being and they’ll still support him – that’s sick.

Donald Trump if elected could finish what the Reagan and Bush administrations started – the extinction of the middle working class and the world economy as we know it, or worse. All that would be left is the rich and working poor; many of you are already there.

If this country were to self-destruct because of Trumps poor judgments, Trump and his family will take their billions and leave. The rest of us will be left to fight off poverty and who knows what else just to survive.

Don’t let your protest vote against the government in Washington, D.C. cloud your thinking and have you regret voting for this madman. Think, then vote. (Galatians 4:16)
