Candidates show woeful state

To the editor:

How appropriate the final presidential debate was held in Las Vegas, aka Sin City. This speaks volumes not only about the candidates but also the woeful state of mankind.

Man was created in God’s image, perfect to the nth degree. Ever since sin emerged via Satan, man’s inclination toward goodness has become a constant uphill battle.

Have you noticed since Satan’s first lie, how lying has been getting bigger and better? The liberal media and scandal magazines thrive on lies.

For starters, the main issues plaguing America are:

1. extreme indebtedness,

2. national security,

3. bribery of and by politicians,

4. Robinhood-like stealing from the middle class,

5. public school indoctrination,

6. socialistic healthcare (Obamacare),

7. disrespect for any and all authority (mainly police),

8. family breakdown, i.e., no fathers/single mothers,

9. narcotics/drugs use and

10. lawlessness.

Our Constitution, Bill of Rights and the other amendments were built on biblical principles and should be followed and adjudicated when violated.

The same laws which govern our country were gleaned from the Bible itself. God is and will always be in control.

Worldwide catastrophic weather is more likely arising because of God’s judgment, not climate change. Has God gotten your attention?

In spite of horrific problems of all kinds, most recently we are even excusing ourselves by labeling addiction a disease. Not! It’s a behavior problem-a choice users make. Addictions are the side effects of bad choices.

To-the-rescue big pharma undoubtedly has a prescription med to deal with most addictions … the med itself having its own set of side effects. Face it. We’ve become an over-medicated, alcohol dependent, drug-addicted society.

“This world is fallen, the ship is going down, and the question is whether you can find the lifeboat.” I believe that statement to be true and was taken from a recent blog written by Dave Stone on the subject of the human DNA code and how quickly it’s falling apart.

The article is entitled “What’s in Your Genetic Future?” and you would do well to check it out at: truthreallymatters.com.
