Last golf outing was great time

To the editor:

Another fun time was had by all who participated in our Annual Loading Zone II Golf Outing held September 10 and 11 at the Calumet Golf Course.

The men’s scramble was on Saturday and the mixed scramble on Sunday. We had a great time, a delicious meal and much laughter was had by all.

A big thank you to Cheryl, Tom, and Crystal for all their hard work getting donations and/or helping out the day of the scramble. Also, a big thank you to Kevin at the Calumet Golf Course for the use of the course and for discounted green fees and cart fees.

We appreciate all the people who participated over the past 16 years and all the businesses that donated to our event. This was our last golf outing.
