My name is Lynn DeRoseir. My brother, Charles Kilpela, was a veteran. In March, 2018, he was in Rehab at the Houghon County Medical Care Facility.

He had excellent care. He passed away Nov. 13. I believe the care he received helped him to enjoy this past summer.

It wasn’t just the very professional health care he received, it was everyone’s kindness and with dignity they all helped treated Charles with. I forever will be grateful to his nurses, team and staff at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility — God bless. Also, Dr. Geddes, Dr. Lipson and the nurses. Nurses are great!
