To the editor:

In response to a recent letter to the editor titled: “Abortion is not murder” Oh my! How words are chosen to make sinful acts sugar coated or okay in the eyes of those committing them. Take the word abortion for instance. Webster’s Dictionary says: ” the spontaneous or induced termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus.” There is no mention of a baby or human being. I believe exterminate would be a better world to use. Exterminate means: “to get rid of completely usually by killing off.” [ Webster’s Dictionary]

When I was a kid in the 40’s and 50’s whenever there were too many rats, wolves, coyotes, cats or dogs they were exterminated. Kittens and puppies immediately after birth would be placed in a brand bag with a large stone then throw in Seneca Lake to drown. Coyote pups were taken from there dens and killed for money. Wolves and rats were shot to death.

Before anyone says: “Oh how mean and horrible that was, use your brain and think.” How low has mankind stooped, when we treat unborn baby boys and girls as if they were animals and can be legally exterminated for birth control. Religion has nothing to do with it. It’s just very shameful as “human beings” to exterminate millions of babies as if they were just animals we don’t want.

Does a woman really have a right to do with whatever she wants to do with body? No, she can’t legally prostitute it, suicide is illegal and she can’t sell her body parts; just to name a few.

If the pro abortion people have the right to pass laws for abortion then right to life people have the same right to pass laws against abortion whether they are Christians or just concerned human beings protecting those that can’t protect themselves.

Note: Over seven hundred babies and small children have been left in hot cars to die since 2012. Some people value the cares of the world and their cell phones more than their own children. When we get married and have children life is no longer about we and about them.

By the way, all those babies that were murdered and died in cars are with Jesus now.
