Simple Kindness for Youth (SKY) would like to thank all who came out to participate in Bridgefest Chicken Bingo. Our board of directors has as much fun each year in running it as the kids who like to watch the chickens and the adults who win the prize money. We couldn’t do this event without the support of the Bridgefest organizers, who put together a great community event each year. We’d also like to thank Buster Roberts, who has Emceed this event for several years for SKY. Buster’s humor and clear support for our local youth comes through to make this an entertaining and informative fundraiser for our local students. We’d also like to give a special thanks to Gwen Stockwell, who provided the chickens for Chicken Bingo. Gwen is an avid animal and nature lover, who makes sure the chickens are well cared for before, during and after the event. She also engages kids who attended the event by teaching them how to interact with the chickens. It’s a community effort that allows our organization to provide thousands of dollars to help our local students achieve their dreams. Thanks so much to all who came out to support this cause!
