Adams dinner a big success

To the editor:

The Adams Township School District Foundation held its sixth annual fundraising dinner, raffle and auction on September 27, 2019. Julie Cortright and her staff at the Bonfire Bar & Grill served an excellent dinner for the crowd of nearly 200 alumni and friends of the Adams Township School District.

On behalf of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, I would like to thank the following individuals and businesses who donated items for the raffle and auction: Ben Campioni, Festival Foods/Campioni Enterprises; Mark Maroste, Portage Lake Golf Course; Julie Cortright, Bonfire Bar & Grill; Mr. Gary Miller and the Jeffers High School trades class; and Mrs. Emily Johnson and the culinary arts class.

A special thanks to Missy Goulette and the Flower Shop for preparing the table decorations.

Finally, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who purchased tickets for the event and the following table sponsors: Rukkila Negro & Associates, Superior National Bank & Trust, South Range Eagles, Paul & Margaret Karppinen, Range Auto Body, Martin and Gale Iskra, UP Janitorial Services, Frank A. Douglas Agency, Edward Jones/Steve Zutter, Superior Block, Keweenaw Petroleum, John & Arthur Penegor Inc., Krupps Resort, Frank & Nancy Rugani, 41 Lumber, UPPCO, Nature’s Way, Tim and Eliisa Keteri, Copper Country Ford, Michigan Tech Employees Federal Credit Union, Village of South Range, Century 21, Bob and Karen Marcheschi, Miners State Bank, Longyear Norhtern Hardwoods, RC Mechanical, Gundlach Champion, and Erico Electric. Your generosity will allow the Foundation to continue to support programs that positively impact the educational experiences of our students for years to come.
