Tired of political stuff

November 19, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

On the ABC evening news it was recently stated that the recent Presidential election consumed 700 days. Now already we hear of talk about the next race to take place in 2016. Is there anyone out there who is not simply tired of all the political stuff? The Canadians manage to go through the process of electing a new Prime Minister in just 38 days! I just do not remember a Presidential election taking so long from start to finish say, 20 years ago.
