Two sought by state police

CALUMET - Two people believed to be involved in the passing of bad checks in the area are being sought by Michigan State Police Calumet Post troopers.

Christina Gagnon, 32, of Calumet and Raymond Ojala, Jr., 30, of Hubbell, were last seen around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, when police were called about a family disturbance. Gagnon and Ojala fled the scene with Gagnon's 11-year-old son; they have not been seen since.

Gagnon and Ojala are driving a green four-door 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with Michigan registration CCD8098.

Gagnon is wanted on several felony counts of uttering and publishing and forgery of checks. The case remains under investigation, and additional charges are pending. Anyone coming into contact with Gagnon or Ojala should contact the MSP at 337-5145 during business hours or 337-2211 after hours.
