MIAMI, Fla. - Mary Ann Hosafros, 61, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, in Miami, Fla. from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
She was born Aug. 20, 1951, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Wayne and Mary Lou Hosafros.
After graduation in 1969 from Rossford High School in Rossford, Ohio, she attended Defiance College.
Mary was a Navy veteran serving as a Flight Services Specialist. She retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller at the Miami Center.
Mary enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family, friends and her three little chihuahuas.
Mother of Dana of British Columbia; loving sister of Hugh (Joan) Hosafros of Dollar Bay; sister-in-law of Mary Gauer (Michael) Hosafros of Akron, Ohio; loved step-daughter of James F. (Mary Lou) Walton of Ocala, Fla.; cherished aunt of Jennifer Hosafros of London, Ontario and Janelle Hosafros of Dollar Bay, Nicole and Nathan Hosafros of Akron; best friend of Kim and Yvonne of Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Michael.
Services will be private and memorials may be given to the charity of choice.
