To the editor:
I lost my wallet some time ago and it was never returned.
To the woman who I am convinced found it, and on whom I so rudely hung up (when she called), thinking she was a tele-marketer, I say this: Didn't I deserve one more call to verify?
Some items of importance - driver's license, social security, medicare and retired military I.D. cards can be replaced. But other things personal and dear to me apparently are gone forever.
I still offer a reward for its return.
