James Raymond Spagnotti

CALUMET - James Raymond Spagnotti, 39, passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2013.

James was born in Fort Carson, Colo. and grew up in Mohawk. He was the son of John Spagnotti and Diane Illikainen.

He lived in El Paso, Texas, for four years, and attended community college there. He returned to Calumet and worked as a carpenter.

James was married to Ann Roberts for 12 years and later married Shanon Kerttu in 2010.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, tattooing and music.

He is survived by his parents, John of New Mexico and Diane of Mohawk; wife, Shanon; children, Joshua, Jeremy, Jorden, Devin, Anton, Hannah, Lily, Lydia, Cheynne, and Jesse; sisters, Diane (Scott Kaipio) DuLong of Calumet, Angela (James Perko) Spagnotti of Marquette; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nieces.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents Anniable Spagnotti and Marcella Lahti and Raymond and Marguerite Illikainen.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home on Sunday July 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. Family funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22 in the Ryan Funeral Home with Deacon Art Stancher to officiate.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
