A ‘thank you’ from the heart

July 31, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all involved in the search for our son on July 10th.

Thank you for the amazing efforts of the Houghton County Sheriff's Department, DNR Air Patrol, Michigan State Police, and their K-9 unit, Superior Search & Rescue, Ahmeek Search & Rescue, Bootjack Search & Rescue, and the Calumet Township Fire Department.

Thank You to many friends and family on site searching the woods, and bringing food, taking time away from their busy life to help.

We would also like to thank everybody that was prepared to search, and didn't come because he had been found. We are very thankful for the community in which we live, and know we couldn't get the result we did without all your help.

Thank You,

Tom and Lana Lasanen and family
