We would like to thank everyone for making our 2nd Annual Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home Golf Scramble a huge success. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time.
Thanks to the 48 golfers who participated in the Scramble. Thank you to the 17 Sponsors who supported our event this year. They were: Penegor Lumber, Gundlach Champion, Wal-Mart, Portage Health Systems, Aspirus Keweenaw Medical Center, River Valley Bank, Superior National Bank, Range Bank-Calumet, Douglas Real Estate Re/Max, Pepsi, Copper Country Ford, Rukkila, Negro & Associates, Edward Jones-Bob Nelson, UPPCO, Big Valley Ford, Habaneros / Library Restaurant & Brew Pub. We also want to thank those who donated items for the drawings the golfers were able to participate in: Mike Lahti Insurance, Habaneros, MTU Athletic Dept., Ontonagon Golf Club, The Michigan House Caf, Portage Lake Golf Course, Rock House Grille, Keweenaw Coffee Works, Calumet Mercantile and General Store, Caf Rosetta, Copper World, Copper Island Beach Club, Inc., The Bike Shop, Chickadees, University Images, Ace Hardware, Old School Bakery, Gitzen Wholesale Co., Hancock Bottling, Calumet Pat's IGA and those who wish to remain anonymous. Again this year, the Wyandotte Hills Golf Club was a beautiful setting for our event, so thank you to Betty, the staff, and anyone who helped make this year's scramble a success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
